Joe’s design practice has extended internationally, with a focus on large-scale urban and landscape projects in China. As a Design Associate at PWL Partnership, he has contributed to significant design competitions for the City of Shenzhen, including the 2018 Planning and Design Competition for the Coastal Landscape Corridor of Dongguan, and the 2019 Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters – Central Green Axis and Base Area.

In the Dongguan Coastal Landscape Corridor project, Joe’s design proposal received unanimous support from the jury panel, successfully advancing to the qualification consultation stage for the Binhaiwan New District—an important milestone in one of the region’s flagship urban development initiatives.
